Turn right on 19 and head East. At the third light, turn right onto 276. Take 276 into Waynesville, and follow it out of town. You will have a little jog in Waynesville, turning right onto Main Street and left onto 276. Just follow the signs for 276. Continue on 276, going through Bethel. At the light turn right onto 215. This is a secluded, very curvy road that takes you to the top of the mountain at the Blue Ridge Parkway. If you wish to see falls, there will be some up ahead on the right. Continue on past the Parkway for about 9 miles. You will see “Living Waters” retreat on your right. The falls here are on private property, but the owners are nice enough to allow the public to view the falls. You will pass the buildings, and on the right, you will see a place to pull off the road and there is a trail there. Continue on 215 until you get to 64. Turn left on 64 and head towards Brevard. As you get towards the end of town, you will turn left onto 276 towards Waynesville. Go about 5˝ miles, and on your right you will see Looking Glass Falls, GPS coordinates 35.296338, -82.768399. Parking is right on the road, and you can see the falls from the road. You can also climb down some stairs and get in the water. These are falls that you can actually ride! The parking is fee based, $1 per person, but it is almost worth it to watch them go down in the COLD water! GPS coordinates are: 35.311021, -82.787252.
